Advance Driving Tuition

If you have done a search on Google or other search engine for the search term Advance Driving Tuition there is a post elsewhere on this blog that is concerned with Advanced Driving Tuition.

Basically, any driver who has a full licence can go on to do advanced driver training.

There are a few organisations who offer certificates in advanced driving. Probably the best known of these is the Institute Of Advanced Motoring. Another well known organisation is the Driving Instructors Association and they have their own qualification.

The Diamond Advanced Certificate is the product of the Driving Instructors Association and the test is actually based on the Driving Standards Agency Syllabus but the test is of a far higher standard.

In the normal Driving Test you are allowed 15 minor faults, the test lasts approximately 40 minutes and you are required to do two manoeuvres as well as a drive that can incorporate an emergency stop, hill start, town and country driving, possibly some dual carriageway.

The Diamond Advanced Test is conducted over a much longer time frame, up to one and a half hours, can include all of the manoeuvres and a very comprehensive drive. You are only allowed six minor faults.

All drivers benefit from advance driving tuition, you will be a safer driver, your passengers will feel more confident when sitting beside you. Advance driving tuition could also be beneficial in your employment if you are required to do a lot of driving.

Advance Driving Tuition is on the 2Pass.eu Driving School Blog.
