Syllabus element:- Parallel Park – you must demonstrate effective all round observation and show consideration to other road users when parking your vehicle.
Control your vehicle making proper use of clutch (if fitted), accelerator, brakes and steering. Allow for clearance as your vehicle is turning, the front will swing out to the right.
Keep a special look out for cyclists and pedestrians who may pass close to the rear of your vehicle.
Meeting Traffic, Overtaking, Crossing Traffic – What does it all mean?

Driving Skill:- Can you reverse park either on the road or in a car park whilst safely observing all around you? There are two parking manoeuvres. You need to be able to reverse park into a parking bay. The other parking exercise is known as a ‘parallel park’ where you reverse park on the road.
Show Me Tell Me Question :- Open the bonnet, identify where you would check the engine coolant level and tell me how you would check the engine has the correct level.
Answer :- Identify the coolant tank and check the min/max markings. If the coolant is below the minimum mark then more coolant will need to be added. To do this, unscrew the cap and pour in coolant until the maximum mark is reached.
